TheUNIVERSITY OF LONDON Level 4 Diploma aims to provide learners with a foundational understanding of law and the legal system. Curricular Outcomes
Understand the principles of formation of legal agreements.
Understand aims and general principles of criminal law.
Age Requirement: The qualification is designed for learners typically aged 17 and above.
Entry Profile: The entry profile for learners is expected to include at least one of the following:
GCE Advanced level profile with achievement in 2 or more subjects supported by 5 or more GCSEs at grades 4 and above.
A Level 3 qualification in law or legal studies, such as the University of London Level 3 Diploma in Law.
Access to Higher Education Certificate from an approved further education institute and validated by an Access Validating Agency.
Equivalent international qualifications.
English Language Proficiency: Learners must have an appropriate standard of English to access resources and complete unit assignments. For non-native English speakers, recommended standards include IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 162 or above, or Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic 42-49.
